Ink & Water Photography by Alberto Seveso

Ink & Water Photography by Alberto Seveso

You’ve most likely seen Italian artist Alberto Seveso’s digital illustration work, as he produces editorial pieces, advertising, and even album artwork for Frankmusik. He uses a specific technique in which photographs are layered with vector illustrations, creating a final image that is a cross between reality and fantasy. While he is most known for these illustrations, Seveso has also completed a couple of photographic series involving water and ink. There may be nothing original about this effect, but Seveso’s captures are exceptionally mesmerizing. The fluidity of the ink form creates a material that is virtually unrecognizable, almost suggestive of billowing fabric.

You can see the series at: Alberto Seveso – Medicina Rossa + Sequenza Blu/Verde.
